Charges levied by the port for containers that have not been moved out of the port within a specified free time. Is charged starting from the moment of discharge at the terminal and until the containers are picked up from the terminal. Usually charged per TEU and on increasing scale (the longer the cargo is in the port, the more expensive the following day of storage is).
