On 11 September, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea Lee Nak-Yeon paid an official visit to the Commercial Port of Vladivostok (VMTP, a part of FESCO TG) and took part in the ceremony for the dispatch of a regular container train from Vladivostok to St. Petersburg. The train is a part of the intermodal delivery service for car spare parts and components from the Republic of Korea to the Russian plant of Hyundai Motor Company.

During the Prime Minister's visit, Alexander Isurin, the President of FESCO, and Hyun-Joon Koo, the CEO of Hyundai Glovis Co. Ltd, one of the largest logistics companies of the Republic of Korea, presented the jointly developed service: cargo delivery from Busan to Vladivostok through FESCO's marine lines, and then to St. Petersburg by the Trans-Siberian railway. The minimum delivery time from Korea to the destination point is 15 days.
The transportation scheme Busan - St. Petersburg was developed based on FESCO's fast service "Busan-Moscow in15 days".
