FESCO commitment to environment protection is rewarded with Green Flag Environmental Achievement Award.

Port of Long Beach incentive program award for achievements in reduction of negative environmental impaсt (known as “Green Flag”) is awarded to FESCO vessel IGARKA crew.

FESCO Group vessels fully comply with stringent Program requirements. Their remarkable contribution to reducing pollution is noted in the Letter of Gratitude to the Company, which gives FESCO vessels the right to sail with Green Flag.

Environmental protection and preservation of living nature diversity are one of the fundamental FESCO values. FESCO Transport Group takes active part in different incentive projects, aimed at preventing pollution and reducing the negative impact on nature, including Long Beach program for harmful emission reduction.

The Green Flag program was launched on January 1st, 2005. The special Green Flag is given to companies, whose vessels were able to minimize their gas exhausts in the zone up to 20 nautical miles seaward from the port.
