On the 27th of April under the direction of Naval Administration of port St Petersburg the meeting, concerning the results of winter Baltic navigation, took place. The participants of Staff of Ice Operations in Gulf of Finland noted that navigation was successfully completed, first of all, due to the efficient work of icebreaker «Admiral Makarov».

The captain of icebreaker Gennadiy Antokhin said that «arrangements, being conducted now on consolidation of FESCO position — wage raise of crews, improvement of maintenance works of ships — have already gained support among members of crew and give us a real possibility to be number one in our work».

Today icebreaker «Admiral Makarov» has the largest amount of running hours among all line icebreakers, working in the Baltic Sea.
