The camp in Vladivostok is a part of the nation-wide program run by the International Charity Fund «Children of Russia». This FESCO sponsored program includes a series of summer recreation camps in several cities of Russia. Besides Vladivostok such camps are to be deployed in Kaluga, Rostov-on-Don, Khabarovsk and Yakutsk.
The program in Vladivostok hosts 30 kids 5 to 15 years old on a recovery path after oncohematological diseases. Enriched with entertainment and education the «Emerald City» program is focused on helping children cope with psychological tension and feeling of desolation, making new friend.
Evgeny Ambrosov, FESCO President & C.E.O. says: «… sponsorship of charity projects, aimed at helping children who suffer from cancer, is a top priority of FESCO social responsibility. This year we initiated integration of Vladivostok into the Program. Vladivostok is a native city for FESCO, and happiness of its children, who need special care in particular, is our most significant mission».
FESCO has been actively and regularly supporting charity projects, related to pediatric oncology since 2005. The projects include building of the Oncohematological Rehabilitation Center for Children in Primorye. Every year 350 children can get treatment and rehabilitation in this modern and unique in its own way medical institution.
The International Charity Fund «Children of Russia» was established to help children and orphans with severe diseases. Ms. Nataliya Owen is a Chairman of the Fund Board of Directors.
