Currently, cargoes are dispatched via JTSL every 2 weeks. Deliveries on a weekly basis will allow FESCO to increase the share of cargoes transported via the fast service Direct Route and make the route through Far Eastern ports more attractive to customers.
The new service will be available for shipments from the ports of Sendai, Yokohama, Shimizu, Nagoya, Kobe and Toyamashinko to the ports of Vladivostok and Vostochny. It is the only direct line connecting these countries on a weekly basis. Transit time will not change, and shipping from Yokohama to Vostochny and Vladivostok will take 6 and 7 days, respectively, and from Toyamashinko to Vladivostok, 3 days. Within the frame of the intermodal chain, cargoes delivered to the Far-Eastern ports are further transported to other Russian regions by Trans-Siberian railway and to Europe. Cargoes transported from Vladivostok to Moscow by a FESCO Moscow Shuttle regular train are delivered in 10 days.
25%* of imported goods from Japan to the Russian Far East are carried out by FESCO JTSL service. JTSL connects two countries for more than 25 years, and it is the only direct sea line between ports of Japan and Russia.
