FESCO Launches New Block Train on the Route Khabarovsk — Moscow

10 July 2015
FESCO Transportation Group launches a new blocktrain service on the route Khabarovsk — Moscow: FESCO Amur Shuttle westbound (FASW). The new service is in line with the Company’s strategy aimed at expanding its intermodal container transportation network.

The first block train went from FESCO Stroyoptorg Terminal (Krasnaya Rechka railway station) on July, 10. FASW departs from Khabarovsk once a week, on schedule. Total transit time to Moscow is 10 days.

FESCO Amur Shuttle westbound is organized in the door to door way: cargoes can be delivered to the client’s door. Service includes freight forwarding, terminal cargo handling, and container accommodation. Shipments are available either on the terms of carrier’s owned container (COC) or shipper owned containers (SOC).

FASW allows clients to improve their logistics and to cut expenses that way. New service is cheaper and faster than one of the actual freight ways on the route Khabarovsk — Moscow.

The service is arranged in the form of a loop route with return shipment: FASW is coupled with FESCO Amur Shuttle, providing regular container cargo shipments from Moscow to Khabarovsk.
