FESCO increases capacity of sea line between Russia and Turkey

FESCO Transportation Group (“FESCO”, the “Group”) has increased the capacity of sea line FESCO Turkey Black Sea Service (FTBS) between Russia and Turkey via a container ship capable of transporting up to 712 TEU.

Moreover, FESCO has expanded geography of the service by adding a new port of call – Gebze. Now the FTBS line operates on route Novorossiysk – Istanbul – Gebze – Novorossiysk. Frequency of shipments – once a week. Transit time from Novorossiysk to Istanbul is 1-2 days, to Gebze – one day extra.

FTBS was launched at the end of April 2022 to deliver consumer goods, household appliances and electronics from Turkey to Russia and Russian-made industrial goods in the opposite direction. Since the beginning of operation of the line FESCO has transported more than 2.5 thousand TEUs.

As part of the service, the Group offers its customers additional options for customs clearance and door-to-door cargo delivery by road and rail transport both in Turkey and in Russia connecting port Novorossiysk with a network of FESCO support hubs throughout the country.
