FESCO has won the tender for supplying the Argentine Research Stations in Antarctica for the eighth time

FESCO Transportation Group has won the Argentine Ministry of Defense tender for participation in the project for supplying the research stations in Antarctica in 2016.

The project entails the delivery of general cargo, food products and diesel fuel to the Argentine stations. The service will be provided by the diesel-electric ship «Vasiliy Golovnin." The ship’s departure to the port in Buenos-Aries for loading is scheduled for the end of November 2015. After loading, the ship will travel to Antarctica.

FESCO is participating in the Argentine Ministry of Defense project on the support of Antarctica research stations for the eighth year. The previous project was completed in March 2015. In 2015, the diesel-electric ship «Vasiliy Golovnin» visited 11 Argentine stations, processing a total of about 8,500 tons of cargo.
