FESCO has signed agreements on development of cooperation with its Chinese partners - Zhengzhou International Hub and Shanghai International Port Group

The agreement with ZIH is aimed at creating new joint transportation services and attracting additional freight traffic for transportations on the regular transit container train FESCO Silk Way Shuttle launched in August. In autumn 2017, FESCO is planning to hold a business mission in the Henan province of China with representatives of Russian exporters of food interested in promoting their products.

“We hope that our efforts will contribute to the development of economic potential of regions of the People’s Republic of China and the Russian Federation and to strengthening of Russian-Chinese relations”, Alexander Isurin, FESCO’s President noted on the results of signatures.

The agreement with Shanghai International Port Group involves expanding the information exchange between FESCO and its Chinese partner in order to transfer technology and expertise in operation and management in ports. The parties shall endeavor to facilitate shipment of cargo via ports Shanghai and Vladivostok and the Trans-Siberian railway and use of the unified information system of container transportations.

“Of particular importance for us today is the opportunity to exchange experiences with the Shanghai port in terms of creation and operation of CFS-warehouses designed to consolidate small shipments. Our Chinese partners have a great experience in the use of such technologies, I am confident that when applied to terminals of the Commercial Port of Vladivostok it will allow us to create a new format of cooperation with customers”, Aleksandrs Isurins added.
