FESCO finishes Arctic navigation

Shipping to the regions with limited navigation period is coming to the end.

During Arctic navigation of 2005, FESCO in accordance with approved shipping schedule delivered about 285 thousand tones of general and bulk cargo including 220 thousand tones of coal.

Today FESCO has signed 19 contracts for shipping to regions with limited navigation period in Far East. Main FESCO counteragents are national enterprises of Chukotka Autonomous district Chukotsnab, Polartrans company, Pacific Navy, FESCO Ocean Management company.

Navigation cargo index remains the same — fuel, building materials, food and mining equipment for Chukotka gold-mining business.

The official date of term for shipping to regions with limited navigation period is October 30.
