The Day of Workers of Sea and River Fleet celebrates at the 1st Sunday of July.

On the 4th of July the FESCO veterans, sea-folk and managerial employees gathered together to pay the honours of deceased sailors.

It has been the tradition that solemn ceremony of the lying the wreaths and genuflection at the memory about all deceased sailors in peaceful and wartime took place near the monument of Sailors of Merchant Fleet.

The FESCO veterans, management and staff presented at the ceremony. The cadets of the Maritime State University stayed in the guard of honour.
